Clifford MalcolmWILLIAMS27 November 1929 - 19 March 2008 Rennie, Paul and family are heartbroken to announce the death of Cliff, a gentleman to the end, patient, kind and understanding - who passed away on March 19 at Aberdare General Hospital. A beloved and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Cliff was a self-employed painter and decorator who carried out his trade with dedication and professionalism. We extend our special thanks to all those who attended the funeral services at the house and at Llwydcoed Crematorium which were officiated by Mr David Jones with compassion and sincerity. Thanks to the Bearers - Paul (son), Alyn, Geraint, Steven, Nigel and Gareth (nephews). Rennie and Paul wish to thank everyone for their telephone calls, sympathy cards, letters and flowers for the house. Most importantly thanks is given to all those who gave their unfailing support during this sad time and also throughout Cliff's illness from family, friends and neighbours to Crossroads Carers, the Social Services, District Nurses, Doctors and Nurses at Prince Charles Hospital and those at Aberdare General Hospital ("C" Ward) whose care was over and above the call of duty. Thanks also to Pearns Pharmacy, Dowlais, to Dr Raju, Ivor Street Surgery for his concern and understanding at all times and to Suzanne's Florist for her sympathy. To Martine and Simon of Gilbert James and Son, Funeral Directors for their caring attitude and professionalism and to Morlais Golf Club for their superb buffet we are grateful. Lastly to those who gave so generously to the Alzheimer's Society and Cancer Aid, Merthyr, we thank you. No more pain Cliff. Rest in peace.
